GEORGE LINCOLN ROCKWELL (1918-1967), a man who had once enlisted in the U.S. Navy to fight Adolf Hitler, came away from World War II, disillusioned that America had fought on the wrong side. He determined to make amends by raising anew the fallen Swastika Banner in 1959 and by reviving the very Cause the Jews and their allies thought they had defeated forever, becoming the leading figure—along with British National Socialist Colin Jordan—in establishing the World Union of National Socialists.
